The Muggles Mug Cafe in Jim Thorpe, PA

Fun fact! This place is actually technically nameless? I love a place with some lore. Anyway, it’s originally named The Muggles Mug and was a Harry Potter themed coffee shop- but then they got a lawsuit slapped against them a year or two ago. It is definitely the most popular coffee shop in Jim Thorpe, PA too. We arrived really early to get parking in the area and this place already had a line out almost out the door. They took out all the Harry Potter decor too but it is still whimsy and witchy inside. The coffee and food was really awesome. I got a iced Butterbrew coffee(obviously their play on butterbeer)and it was on point. They also offer a variety of baked goods and homemade quiche flavors. I opted for a raspberry pop-tart and a slice of cheddar broccoli quiche and both were delicious. Kinda iconic that they still just get called the Muggles Mug even though it’s not their legal name anymore.
