Lilya 4-ever (2002)

This movie has been on my radar the past few years and I have been waiting for the right moment to watch it(basically when I wanted something to make me cry and feel something). Truly an emotional roller coaster and the scenes with Lilya and Volodya wrecked me. I decided to afterwards do a mini deep dive of the directors(Lukas Moodysson) other movies and then watched Show Me Love. Show Me Love is a complete change up compared to Lilya, but still fantastic. I have been trying to complete 100 first time watched movies this year and Lilya 4-Ever is in my top 5 so far(I am 73 movies deep!!).
